This 6”x8” woodblock is hand-carved then printed on 8”x10.5” Rives BFK heavyweight printmaking paper. The woodblock print is then hand-painted with multiple washes of transparent watercolor to create an intimate piece. Inspired by the collaborative conservation work of the Blackfoot Challenge in and around where the Blackfoot and the Clearwater rivers come together.
