Woodcut: Nordic Skier 6"x8"
Woodcut: Nordic Skier 6"x8"
Hand painted to order. Ships in 7 days, on a Monday or Thursday.
This 6”x8” woodblock is hand-carved then printed on 8”x10.5” Rives BFK heavyweight printmaking paper. The woodblock print is then hand-painted with multiple washes of transparent watercolor to create an intimate piece. Inspired by the cold magic of winter, that flying feeling you get when the skis and the snow collaborate just right, and the beauty of working hard to glide.

About the prints
Each woodcut is carved by hand, printed on a 1984 Takach press on heavyweight Rives BFK cotton paper, then painted by hand with watercolor. Every print belongs to a limited edition, and every one is unique, because each is painted by hand.
